The Chicago Air and Water Show is coming up soon. On Saturday & Sunday, August 20th and 21st from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at North Ave Beach, residents from all over will leave their Chicago homes to enjoy a great time outdoors watching as the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, U.S. Army Parachute Team Golden Knights, and U.S. Navy Parachute Team Leap Frogs perform daring stunts at speeds of 120 mph from 12,500 feet in the air. Crowds gather along the lakefront from Oak Street through Fullerton to watch and listen to Herb, the longtime announcer, as he delights with stories of days gone by and current information. This amazing show is completely free if you live in Chicago and will leave you amazed as it is the largest air show in the United States.
