Join tavern historian Liz Garibay for a thirst-free history adventure through some of Chicago’s unique watering holes. Inside each location, you’ll have time for a drink as your guide recounts the history of the establishment and its surrounding neighborhood. During this tour, you’ll explore your inner leprechaun and learn about Chicago’s celebrated Irish heritage! Once you register, the meeting points are announced the week of the tour.
Sponsored by the Chicago History Museum as part of their series of History Pub Crawls through Chicago eateries.
The Irish Pubs of Chicago tour will be held twice, on March 6 and 13, from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $40, $30 for members. There is a limit of 6 tickets per purchase. Meals and beverages are not included in the ticket price, but participants will receive drink specials at each location when possible.
