Imerman Inspires Near Your Chicago Home

At Sergio and Banks, we believe in being involved in our local community and in supporting organizations that seek to improve life for Chicago residents. Imerman Angels is one of those organizations. Imerman Angels seeks to empower those who live in Chicago (and beyond) with information and support by pairing cancer survivors with those just diagnosed or undergoing treatment.
This weekend Imerman Angels invites you to attend a free infomation meeting on leukemia, lymphoma and other blood cancers on Sunday, January 29th from 1 to 4 p.m. Held near your Chicago home at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital in the Feinberg Pavilion (Conference Room A) on 251 E. Huron, this event will help you gain a greater understanding of leukemia, lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndromes, and multiple myeloma from medical professionals in a question and answer format.
Learn the latest about treatments and options for patients with hematology/oncology disorders from experts, including one of the Leukemia Research Foundation’s 2011 Nurses of the Year, Ima Garcia from the University of Chicago Medical Center, who will have specific advice for caregivers. Complimentary parking vouchers are available at the Huron/St. Clair parking garage.Learn more by clicking here or call 847.424.0600.
Next week, Imerman Angels will host the NMH Sweet Treat Social and needs volunteers. If you would like to join in the fun and serve a worthy cause in your community, please email [email protected]
