Lincoln ParkLincoln Park is on the upswing as far as home pricing goes.  In the last year, sales prices in this hip, tree-lined, friendly neighborhood have increased 9%.  In fact, the average Lincoln Park home lists for about $585,000, although many homes are more expensive.  Rumored to be the second wealthiest neighborhood, second only to Gold Coast, some of the most expensive real estate in Chicago can be found in Lincoln Park.  Lincoln Park is home to many young  professionals, recent college graduates and students, and families, both new and established.

Commuters flock to Lincoln Park due to its easy public transportation access and close shopping.  Ranging from brownstones and historic homes to contemporary new construction, Lincoln Park attracts many for its diversity.  The area itself is known for its museums, DePaul University, zoo, fine dining, rowing canal and lake front views. Theaters, parks, churches, gardens, bookstores, beaches, Green City Market and boutiques add to its draw, as well.  Lincoln Park  in one of the largest recreational parks in the country, at over 1,200 acres, and has nicely groomed running trails throughout.  Often residents and visitors can be found running, tanning, roller-blading, biking, walking their pets, or even paddle-boating!
