The Gold Coast Art Fair offers an opportunity to spice up your life this weekend, no matter where you live in Chicago. Over fifty years of artistic creations will be remembered in this event, named the “Granddaddy of American Art Festivals. Open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, July 9th and 10th, this free festival, near your Chicago home at Grant Park, is great fun for everyone, from single to married, old to young. Special events are planned for children including the “Make A Mesterpiece” creative studio, a scavenger hunt, and the unique work of speed painter Tim Decker. Artwork valued between $25 and $25,000 will be sold at this favorite Chicago tradition. Special early bird discounts will be offered by some of the artists to visitors arriving between 9 and 10 a.m. both days. Food, entertainment and live demonstrations and creations will be taking place throughout the fair, too. To learn more, click here.
