Chicago Dog Show Brings Family Fun to the Loop

The International Kennel Club of Chicago is coming to Chicago’s Loop this month. With a spectacular show anticipating attendance from over 60,000 Chicago home owners and visitors, this is the place to be if you love canines! You will be able to observe more than 10,000 purebred dogs from 167 breeds and witness their beauty and accomplishments in competitions and demonstrations. This is a fun time for Chicago families with free admission for children twelve and under with each adult ticket purchase.

You won’t want to miss the Dog Judging for children ages 9 – 19 or the Puppy Spectacular where puppies aged 6 months to 12 months compete for “Best Puppy In Show.” This exhibition will be held in unique “Chicago-style” with a no-bench format so guests can meet and greet with dogs and their handlers, when they aren’t competing. The show will occur from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on February 25th through 27th at the McCormick Place North Building, located at 2301 S. Lake Shore Drive.
