Recent Chicago blizzards may have taken part of the roof off of Wrigley Field, but Opening Day is continuing as planned. As a Chicago home owner or resident, being a Cubs fan is an essential element of life in Chicago. If you haven’t yet purchased your 2011 season tickets, you have several options. Chicago residents can choose from the Pick 13 Plan, the new Six-Pack Plan, the MasterCard Presale, or you always have the option of single game purchases. Any of these purchases can be made through the Chicago Cubs website and some can be made through the Wrigley Field Box Office.
The Pick 13 Plan offers fans sought after games and match-ups with the New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox and St. Louis Cardinals. The new for 2011 Six Pack Plan allows fans to choose between pre-selected six-game plans. Each Six Pack Plan includes Opening Day and games with the New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox and St. Louis Cardinals. The Six Pack Plan started selling two weeks ago at just $97 per plan.
Coming up this Wednesday, February 23rd, The Cubs will offer their MasterCard Pre-Sale through Thursday, February 24th at 3 p.m. Single game tickets can be purchased through www.cubs.com at a 20 percent premium, or a 15 percent premium for fans using a MasterCard.
