Willms Calls Chicago Marathon "Electric"

Yesterday Sergio and Banks’ team member Stephanie Willms ran in the Chicago Marathon! Willms was amazed at the turnout by both race participants and the amount of people who came from their Chicago homes to cheer the racers on. Willms recounted, “It was such a beautiful day and what they say about the city feeling electric is undeniably true.”
Willms related, “The first 20 miles were really amazing. Got a little choked up a few times seeing people run by with “miss you dad” and other such touching phrases written on their clothing. The hoses were greatly appreciated and the music on every block was funny, inspirational or a combination of the two.”
At Sergio and Banks, we are extremely impressed by Stephanie’s endurance and devotion, even though, as she said, “the last 6.2 miles was pure torture.” Her estimated time was 4:25. Way to go!
