Spook-Tea Tour: Palm Court puts a twist on traditional Afternoon Tea with a week-long “Spook-Tea” event. Guests can enjoy Halloween themed afternoon tea. For those a little more daring, a Haunted Tea & Tour Package will be available, to include exclusive Terrifying Tales of the Drake’s Torrid Past ….recently dug up from the grave! October 26-30.
Disturbia – Screams in the Park: Only the bravest should dare to enter Disturbia: Screams in the Park in the basement level of the parking garage at MB Financial Park at Rosemont. The haunt features 20,000 square feet of terror with more than 35 rooms where guests determine their own fate based on the choices they make while traversing the inescapable halls of the haunt. New additions to the haunt for 2015 include an unnerving insane asylum managed by murderous clowns who are killing for laughs, along with sinister caverns of darkness. Through November 1.
Monster Bash: Put on your Halloween costume for the Annual Halloween Monster Bash. Dance the night away with DJ Mike as he spins all the latest dance tunes while you indulge in the Witch’s Brew cocktail list. Wear your most impressive costume, as prizes will be awarded for best male and female costumes. October 31.
Northalsted Halloween Parade: For the 18th year, a group of creative souls will bare their alter egos, dark sides, or their shadows, to the world on Halloween, parading them down one of Chicago’s hottest entertainment districts: North Halsted Street. October 31.
Spooky Pooch Parade: For two very special hours only, dogs are allowed in the Chicago Botanic Garden. Cleverly costumed canines march the parade route to celebrate Halloween. Spectators are invited to line the parade route for a barking good time. October 31.
Chicago Haunted Tours: Discover Chicago’s architecture at nighttime while exploring the many spirits, scandals, and sins of the Windy City. Your journey will last at least one hour, so sit back as you are taken through Chicago’s darker history with spine tingling tales of supernatural occurrences, moonlit mysteries, and infamous figures along the beautiful Chicago River.
Glessner House Spooky Events: First, there’s the frightfully creepy Shadows on the Street – Haunted Tours of Historic Prairie Avenue. You’ll heaer tales of strange sounds, unexplained sightings, and untimely endings as you explore Prairie Avenue after dark! October 30 and 31. Next is the 29th Annual Edgar Allen Poe Readings. Squirm in your seat as actors from Lifeline Theatre present staged readings of Poe’s terrifying stories and poetry. A holiday favorite now in its 29th year. October 31.
Horror Movie Madness: There’s a horrific line-up of Late Night at the Logan features this month in the 4th annual Horror Movie Madness festival. In addition to all these features, we invite you to join us for a costume party on the 23rd, or the 3 Sheeps Brewing Co. beer party on the 30th. In conjunction with this line-up, our friend and neighbor Galerie F will release limited edition hand-pulled movie posters as part of an ongoing series. Come early and hang out at our bar or in our Lounge! Partake in something ghoulishly delicious from our special cocktail menu or enjoy any of your favorites from our fully stocked bar.Remaining movies include The Shining, Gremlins, Young Frankenstein, Night of the Living Dead, and Black Sheep.
