17th Annual Chicago Improv Festival

The 17th annual Chicago Improv Festival takes over the city for a week, from March 31 until April 6, showcasing the best local, national and international on-the-spot comedic talent! More than 150 teams in over 90 shows on 20 stages will be featured in the following categories: Long Form, Short Form,Emerging Artists, Musical, Dramatic (new for 2014), Experimental, Alternative, Genre, Puppetry, CIF Latino, and Open Stage.

This year’s improv fest will be capped off with two Chicago “homecoming” shows from the Upright Citizens Brigade’s founding members – Matt Besser (Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story), Ian Roberts (Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy) and Matt Walsh (Veep, The Hangover) – performing as ASSSSCAT.
