Join 50,000 attendees and help tackle 50,000 pounds of pork at this highly anticipated street festival, now in its 16th year. Ribfest Chicago features of the three-day long event include a BBQ master cookoff and RibMania sanctioned eating contest — bring your appetite! Ribfest is also a nationally recognized Indie music festival hosting two stages of top local and national artists. The now-famous “Kids Square” provides hours of entertainment, allowing children to slide, climb, jump, ride, dance and enjoy live entertainment all weekend long.
Proceeds from the Northcenter Chamber of Commerce’s largest fundraiser support a number of chamber initiatives, greening and beautification efforts, hunger relief, community non-profit organizations and schools. Ribfest Chicago and the Northcenter Chamber of Commerce have invested close to $250,000 back into the community.
Ribfest Chicago will be held on Friday, June 6, 5-10 p.m.; Saturday, June 7 & Sunday, June 8, noon – 10 p.m. Kids Square, Saturday, noon – 8 p.m. & Sunday, noon – 7 p.m. $5 suggested donation at gate. VIP tickets available.
