School News For Bucktown Residents

First Student  #314Calling all parents who live in Bucktown! The Bucktown Community Organization (BCO) is hosting a fall event that is a must attend for parents and parents to be. Learning about your children’s elementary schools has become much easier with the BCO Education Forum this Thursday, October 27th. The forum will orient and educate you well about the Chicago School System and the neighborhood schools near your Bucktown home.
The Forum consists of two vital parts:
At 7 p.m. the BCO will host a school fair with representatives from all five Bucktown Elementary Schools present to personally answer each of your questions. Following the fair, at 8 p.m., Education Chair Steve Dillinger will give a special presentation about CPS to cover the essentials of navigating the CPS system. ‘CPS 101’ will greatly enhance your fluency to access and utilize information to benefit your children’s educational experience. This special evening will definitely be time well spent and suggest you take advantage of these services hosted by the BCO. The Bucktown Education Forum will take place at Pulaski International School, located at 2230 West Mclean.
